Open Machine Configuration Settings
On your laptop, log in to your admin dashboard.
Go to the Machine List menu.
Click Machine Config (blue font) for the machine you want to adjust.
Change the Machine Operating Mode
In the configuration menu, locate the Machine Mode section.
Switch the mode from Buy Mode to Advertising Mode.
This stops regular sales activity and enables ad display instead.
Set a Time Schedule
Scroll to Scheduling Settings.
Choose the specific start and end times when the machine should enter Advertising Mode — for example, overnight or during low-traffic hours.
Save the schedule to automate this transition.
Add a Black Screensaver Image
Upload or select a plain black image as the advertising display.
When Advertising Mode is active, the screen will appear dark, creating a “sleep mode” effect while keeping the machine powered.
How to Use Advertising Mode as a Sleep Alternative
While there’s currently no direct sleep mode on the machine, you can achieve a similar effect by enabling Advertising Mode with a black screensaver. This allows the machine to remain on while appearing inactive during off-hours.
