Before You Begin The USB drive must be completely empty and formatted as FAT32 before copying the config file. Any other files or incompatible formats may prevent the board from reading the drive. |
What You Need
Item | Details |
USB Drive | Empty — no other files present |
Config File | ys_lcd_param.txt (attached to this document — see below) |
Android Board | Red board (the main controller board in the machine) |
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Prepare the USB drive — Ensure the USB drive is completely empty. Format it if necessary to remove all existing files.
2. Copy the config file — Save ys_lcd_param.txt (attached to this document) to the root of the USB drive. Do not place it inside any folder.
3. Insert the USB into the Android board — Plug the USB drive into the USB port on the red Android board.
4. Wait for the LED to flash — The LED on the Android board will begin flashing. This indicates the board is reading the config file. Wait approximately 15 seconds.
5. Screen restarts automatically — The screen will restart on its own once the config has been applied. Do not unplug or power off during this process.
6. Verify the fix — Once the screen comes back up, confirm that the pixel/display issue has been resolved.
