Goal:
To give a newly created user access to certain machines and define what actions they can perform.
Access the Role Management Panel
Assign a Role to the User
Set Feature Permissions
Navigate to the User permissions settings tab.
On the left, check the role name (e.g., “Sales Only”).
In the middle, you'll see all available directories (e.g., User Machines, Products, System).
Check the boxes next to the features you want this role to access.
On the right, you can fine-tune machine-related permissions such as:
Once selections are made, click the green Assign Permission button to save changes.
Assign a Machine to a Specific User
On the left-hand menu, go to User Machines and select the Machine Groups tab.
Find the machine group you wish to assign.
Under the Operation column, click Edit.
In the Operation and Maintenance Account dropdown menu, select the email address of the user to assign them this group.
Click the blue Confirm button at the bottom to finalize the assignment.
Note: The machine you want to assign to the the new user is supposed to be present within that "Machine Group"
5. Alternative method to add machines to a specific group.
If a "Machine Group" has already been created, go to the "Machine List" tab.
Go to the machine that you want to be assigned to a specific group.
Under operations on the right side, click on "Edit"
Click on the dropdown menu as shown with the red arrow above.
Only existing machine groups will be displayed here. Select the machine group of you choice and hit confirm.
