Trigger the Scanner
Go to the vending machine and initiate a product purchase.
This action activates the scanner and prepares it to receive barcode commands.
Scan the Setup Sequence Barcodes
Step-by-Step Scanning:
Ensure you are using the printed barcode sheet provided by your scanner manufacturer or support team.
Scan the “Enter Setup” barcode
This puts the scanner in configuration mode.
Scan the “Disable All Symbologies” barcode
This clears out any existing barcode formats to prevent conflicts.
Scan the “Enable PDF417” barcode
This re-enables the correct barcode format used on most government-issued IDs.
Scan the “Exit Setup” barcode
This saves your changes and exits the configuration mode.

Reinitiate a product purchase.
