Configure ID Scanner Settings

How to Configure ID Scanner Settings for Your Machine

  1. Locate Your Machine

    1. Log in to your dashboard.

    2. Find the vending machine number where you want to enable the ID Scanner.

  2. Go to Machine Settings

    1. From the machine setting's overview, click on Machine Config to open its settings panel.

  3. Enable Age Identification

    1. Find the toggle labeled Age Identification Switch.

    2. Set this switch to “Yes” to activate age verification.

  4. Set Application Scope and Method

    1. Under Application Scope, choose:

      AgeRecognitionScanner - Always (If you have installed a physical ID scanner)

    2. For Method - Single Cargo Lane
      ​
      IMPORTANT NOTE: If your screen is not responding to touch while on the screensaver, after turning on the ID scanner and you leave the application scope to "The Entire machine", the machine won't respond to touch prompts without scanning an ID. So, always switch to "Single Cargo Lane"

  5. Configure Time Settings (Optional)

    1. If you want to restrict age checks to specific times:

    2. Enable Time Settings to open the time grid.

    3. You'll see a weekly layout with time blocks:

      1. Green boxes = Age verification enabled.

      2. White boxes = Age verification disabled.

      Example:

      To turn off ID scanning from 8 PM to 5 AM on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, simply click those boxes to make them white.

      Note: Under "Aisle Goods", Make sure each aisle is set to "21"

  6. Set Correct Time Zone

    1. Navigate to Settings > System.

    2. Ensure:

      1. Time zone is set to network-provided.

      2. 24-hour format is enabled for accurate time control.
