What You’ll Need
ID Scanner
USB Connection Cable and USB extender
Screws and Nuts
Screwdriver
Step 1: Open the Machine
Use the machine key to open the Mini Wall Machine door.
Locate the internal tray and remove the tray screws as shown in the installation video.
Carefully disconnect the Motor 7 and Motor 8 cables.
Set the tray aside in a safe location.
Step 2: Access the Mounting Area
Unscrew one screw from the top and one from the bottom of the mounting panel.
Disconnect the two cables attached to the front panel to create space for installation (refer to the video for visual guidance).
Gently lower the panel to allow easier access to the internal area.
Step 3: Connect the Cable Extender
Take the provided cable extender and plug the USB end into the top USB port inside the machine.
Route the cable neatly through the internal area to avoid tangling.
Reattach the front panel and secure it with the screws removed earlier.
Ensure the cable remains free from any pinching or tension between panels.
Step 4: Connect Power and Data Cables
Take the two keyed connectors on the new cable — they only fit one way.
⚠️ Do not force the connectors.
Plug each connector into the appropriate port:
One connects to the mainboard port
One connects to the ID scanner port
Insert the USB end of the longer cable into the USB extender.
Step 5: Mount the ID Scanner
Locate the white front plate with four golden nuts.
Unscrew and remove all four nuts, then remove the plate.
Position the ID scanner (lens facing outward) into the mounting space.
Reinstall the plate and tighten the four nuts — first finger-tight, then snug with a screwdriver.
⚠️ Do not overtighten to prevent damage to the scanner.
Step 6: Reconnect the Tray
Reconnect the internal tray cables:
Cable 7 → Motor 7
Cable 8 → Motor 8
(Each cable is keyed — the latch clip should face upward.)
Slide the tray fully back into position.
Reinstall the three screws to secure the tray firmly.
Step 7: Final Check
Verify that all cables are securely connected.
Power on the machine and confirm:
The ID scanner lights up or activates properly.
No cables are loose, bent, or pinched.
Once complete, your Mini Wall Machine is fully equipped with a functional ID scanner.
✅ Tip: Handle all scanner cables carefully and double-check the connector orientation before plugging them in to prevent damage.
