Uploading Machine Photos in the VTM Vending App

How to add location details and photos to a machine using the new VTM Vending mobile app — including the photos needed for Nayax compliance.

The new VTM Vending mobile app lets you add photos and location details to any machine in your fleet, right from your phone. Machine photos are especially useful for Nayax compliance (which requires pictures of your machine and the products inside), for service visits, and for keeping your locations organized.

Follow the steps below to add location details and photos to a machine.

Step 1: Open the Machines tab

From the app home screen, tap Machines in the bottom navigation bar.

Step 2: Open a machine

In the machine list, tap the machine you want to update. You can use the Search bar or the All / Online / Offline filters at the top to find it quickly.

Step 3: Add the location details

On the machine's Overview tab, scroll down to the Location section:

  • Tap the pencil next to Address and enter the street address where the machine is installed.

  • Tap the pencil next to Location Name and give the machine a name you will recognize (for example, "Main St Office" or the venue name).

Step 4: Add machine photos

Still on the Overview tab, scroll to the Photos section and tap Add Machine Photos. You can add up to 8 photos per machine, either by taking a new photo with your camera or choosing existing ones from your library.

For Nayax compliance, be sure to include:

  • One photo of the full machine, powered on, with the Nayax card reader visible.

  • One close-up photo of the products inside, so that product names and prices can be read.

Tips & Troubleshooting

  • Photos will not upload: Make sure your phone has a stable internet connection. Larger photos may take a few seconds to finish uploading.

  • Can't find the machine: Use the Search bar on the Machines tab, or set the filter to All so offline machines appear too.

  • Keep names consistent: A clear Location Name makes machines much easier to find later and keeps your reports tidy.
